MAKING A DIFFERENCE
“Don't give a man a fish; teach him how to fish.” This is the philosophy I follow every day. Just as with learning how to fish, all teaching, encouragement, and instruction gives the receiver the gift of making their way on their own two feet, passing along these teachings for generations. This is how worlds change.
Giving back to the world is more than an action; it is a way of living in order to make yourself a more compassionate person. It is a way to bestow the blessings you’ve been given onto someone less fortunate, in the hope that they can have better control over their lives.
I founded Celebration of Life after my own long journey with cancer. Celebration of Life honors the fragility and magnificence of every individual life on Earth. Whether we are trapped in the low valleys or have exuberantly scaled the high hills, all of the moments in our lives are precious.
Through our various events throughout the year, Celebration of Life spreads its message of the sacredness of life by fundraising for many charities. We have helped several non-profit initiatives that are dedicated to making peoples’ lives brighter. To see even more, please go the foundation’s website.
